Our mission is to help those experiencing, and emerging from, homelessness, as well as those in critical need.

SNGA has taken one person’s mission to help those in need to a community level through addressing the simple needs of persons experiencing homelessness. While much great work is being done by a number of agencies for people who are in financial crisis or are experiencing homelessness, this work has historically focused on the basic needs of food, clothing, shelter and job training. 

SNGA seeks to meet the other needs that may prevent an individual from accessing the mainstream support network already in place.  We provide essentials such as toiletries, tents and furniture for those experiencing homelessness or recently emerging from another supportive program.  It is in these simple acts that we help connect persons in extreme need with the services essential to improve their lives.

We currently offer three programs:

1) We provide duffel bags with full-size toiletries to those living in homeless shelters.

2) We supply tents and sleeping bags, along with other essentials for those living in the woods.

3) We distribute furniture and other household items to individuals and families with children, coming out of homelessness or otherwise in critical need.  This program is on hold as of the end of May, as we've lost our donated warehouse space. We're looking for new space and will update this site as soon as we have any news.

Right now we primarily are focused in Cobb County but hope to expand to other areas as we grow. We are in need of donations as well as volunteers to help with projects and furniture pick up.
